Program Usage Overview The diagram seen below shows the different areas in which you are able to set styles for your box.
A short summary of each area then follows.
1. These settings allow you to set either a BOX BODY graphic or a BOX BODY color for the body of your box. In the diagrammed example above, a tiling brick graphic selected using my graphic picker was chosen. A solid color instead of a graphic could have been chosen using my color picker. If a color and a graphic are both chosen, then the graphic overrides the color and is shown. If you want, you can use a graphic from your web site or web service instead by entering the full URL of the graphic into the field provided. The graphic you use does not have to have Curved Corners, my system will tile it into the box and create Curved Corners out of it for you! Which means that you can create an unlimited variety of Curved Corner Box body styles, and make them as unique and personal as you like by using your own graphics of wood, tile, brick, stone, metal, leather, reptile, texture, animal, and nature. You only limit is your own imagination! 2. These settings allow you to set either a background graphic or a background color for the Contents Area. The 'Contents Area' is the rectangular area in the center of the box. These settings work similar to the settings in 1. above with the background graphic field overriding the background color field if both are set. In the diagrammed box above, I used a background color of white and left the background graphic field blank. If you leave both the 'Contents Area' background graphic field and the background color field blank, then whatever settings you have set for the 'Box Body Graphic URL' field and the 'Box Body Color' field will flow into the 'Contents Area'. In the case of the example box above, if I had left both the 'Contents Area Background Graphic URL' field blank and the 'Contents Area Background Color' field blank as well, but left all of the other settings of the box the same, it would look something like this:
It doesn't necessarily look that good that way with the brick, but it can look very sharp with the wood grains. 3. You can set whether to have a 'Contents Area Border' or not and what color to make it and also what thickness to make it. The Curved Corner Box above with just the Contents Area Border removed would be:
You can also remove excess space in the 'Contents Area' like:
4. The Contents Area Text Style settings will be applied to any text you enter into your Contents Area. As of this writing, you can choose 1 of 12 different font families, the font color, the font size, the line height, and choose bold, italics, or nowrap. In the brick Curved Corner Box above, I choose a font of Verdana, a font color of black, a font size of 130%, and choose bold face as well. You can override these text style settings for subparts of your contents by using HTML tagswithin your 'Contents Area' like the <SPAN> tag or the <DIV> tag. If you do not know HTML, you can accomplish the same by using the powerful 'Contents Area' subselection functions like the 'Style Subselection' function. 5. The Target Web Page Settings allow you to adjust the Curved Corner Box for the area in the web page or blog in which you will PASTE it. For instance, you might want to put a Curved Corner Advertisement Box with an affiliate link part way down the common left column of your web page. As is common, your left column is lightly colored to give the page a little structure. In that case you would use a eyedropper sampler or some other method to get the RGB code being used in that area in your web page and then enter that into the Target Web Page Background Color field. If you don't do this, then the corners will not look right after you COPY/PASTE into your web page. There are several other Target Web Page settings which are explained in the program manual which can be accessed by clicking one of the many context sensitive help buttons found on the application. -WHAT YOU CAN USE FOR YOUR CONTENTS-
Or you can enter HTML in as your contents, including <img src=""> tags, and link tags. Use only images from your web site for this usage. For some tips on how to use HTML with Curved Corner Boxes go to 'Contents HTML Tips'. |
The web FORM above was 'skinned' using this WIZARD and then just copied/pasted into this page. It is a 'live' web FORM and you can use it to do a search of this web site or to do a search of Google. This automated Curved Corners Box WIZARD can 'skin' practically any HTML and that HTML will still be 'live'.
