that can 'skin' almost any web Content/HTML
like

Menus,

Scripts,
and even
YouTube.com Videos!
Afterwards that Content/HTML still remains
'active' and this system gives you
Copy/Paste code
to paste into your web page or
MySpace.com account.
Run the WIZARD (no signup is necessary to use most of it)

Show Copy/Paste CodeThis function is located on the bottom of the WYSIWYG display on the root application page. It is only available to signed up users and therefore will ask you to log in first if you are not. If you are not signed up yet, sign up and usage of this system is free and does not require any credit card number. The 'Show Copy/Paste Code' page is where you will get the actual Copy/Paste code for your Curved Corners Box 'wrapper' plus your contents. A number of text boxes are provided on this page that contain the code. Just single click in one of the text boxes to select all the text and then copy it to your clipboard. You can then just paste it into your web page or web service like MySpace.com and you are good to go. A number of different Copy/Paste code text boxes are provided on this page for different target uses of the code. All the different Copy/Paste code will render the same Curved Corners Box 'wrapper' plus your contents, but the different ones are optimized for different target pages. Myspace.com account usersTwo basic different types of Copy/Paste code are provided on this page. The first type is made for non web developers who have a MySpace.com user account (or some other similiar web service), and are using Curved-Corner-Boxes.com as a way to spice up their account. The very first Copy/Paste text box is for them. It contains inline css styles targetted for the HTML 4.01 transitional doctype which is best because MySpace.com does not use Doctypes on their users pages! If you are a MySpace.com account user who doesn't know what I'm talking about, don't worry, just use the first Copy/Paste code textbox. You can also use the second Copy/Paste textbox if you wish, which will be explained below. Web Developers
The second Copy/Paste code textbox through the last one are
designed for web developers who want to separate content from presentation
and who may want to use more advanced doctypes. Copy/Paste code is
provided for Doctypes: HTML 4.01 Transitional,
HTML 4.01 Strict,
XHTML 1.0 Transition, and XHTML 1.0 Strict.
The Copy/Paste code
provided by these textboxes does not contain inline css but instead
has a separate
The style section in the code talked about above will contain all the styles to render the Curved Corners Box style as well as the styles to render the Contents of the box. If you enter a HTML tag in the 'Contents Area' with a style="???" attribute in the tag, then the style="???" tag will be replaced with an id="???" tag and the class definition for that id will appear in the <style>...</style> section at the top of the Copy/Paste code!
The id for a style attribute you entered into the
'Contents Area'
will be a unique identifier generated by Curved Corners with a
sequential # on the end, something like
this: id="ccb071020ed-caU-1". The
'caU' part of it stands for 'Contents Area USER style', meaning you.
If you want the id to be more meaningful, just add a comment to your
style="???" code, like this:
Notice the comment starting with /* and
ending with */ right inside the
style tag above.
The Copy/Paste code generated by Curved Corner Boxes would convert
the style tag to an id like this:
Web Developers Note: All of the html you enter into the 'Contents Area' of your Curved Corner Box to develop it must be entered in HTML 4.01 transitonal code style. It was necessary to code to the least common denomitor to create this system. However, when you go to the Copy/Paste code page, the code will automatically be converted to HTML 4.01 Strict style and/or XHTML Transitional/Strict style for the Copy/Paste code textboxes for those doctypes! In other words, enter a html break tag as a <br> instead of a <br /> in the 'Contents Area' of this program even if you are going to end up pasting the Copy/Paste code into a web page with a XHTML doctype. The Curved Corner Boxes Copy/Paste page will convert the <br>'s to <br />'s for doctypes that require it! Also converted will be <img> tags to <img /> tags and the target="???" attribute will be stripped out for Strict doctypes! |
The web FORM above was 'skinned' using this WIZARD and then just copied/pasted into this page. It is a 'live' web FORM and you can use it to do a search of this web site or to do a search of Google. This automated Curved Corners Box WIZARD can 'skin' practically any HTML and that HTML will still be 'live'. Some things you can 'skin' with this WIZARD include: | |||||||||||||||||||
